Operating a mobile food trailer, she brings her culinary creations directly to the community—serving schools, events, and pop-up locations throughout the city.

With years of experience as a private chef and caterer, Juanita brings creativity, consistency, and heart to every plate. Beyond the kitchen, she is a committed community advocate, using her culinary skills to support local initiatives and combat human trafficking in New Orleans. Through Southern Food Lab, Juanita combines her love for cooking with a higher purpose—nourishing her community while showcasing the vibrant flavors and culture of her city.
